Lebanese president, parliament speaker review the situation in the south

Lebanese President Emile Lahoud reviewed with parliament Speaker Nabih Berri the tense situation in south Lebanon. General conditions in Lebanon were also reviewed.
Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss, on the other hand, announced that Lebanon has lodged a complaint to the April Understanding Monitoring Committee against Israel for striking populated areas in south Lebanon, wounding several Lebanese civilians and damaging their properties. Al-Hoss called for a quick meeting for the committee to study the Lebanese complaint.
