Saudi minister of defense due to visit Iran next week

Prince Sultan Ben Abdul Aziz, the deputy second prime minister and Saudi minister of defense and aviation, is to visit Iran during the coming week for few days during which he will discuss with Iranian officials means of enhancing the bilateral relations and issues of common concern.
The Iranian ambassador in Saudi Arabia Muhammad Rida Nouri expressed his country's approval to the visit, and said "the distinction in relations between the two countries positively reflects on the Islamic joint work."
Saudi sources said that the "issue of the Emirate Islands will be tackled during this visit and that the first step for settling these disputes is in making a proper atmosphere for negotiations."
