GCC media officials meet in Riyadh

The sixth meeting of foreign media officials in the Gulf Cooperation Council member states started on Tuesday at GCC headquarters in Riyadh to discuss several topics pertinent to their common foreign media policy.

The participants in the meeting discussed the memorandum submitted by the GCC general secretariat to get in contact with foreign media activities through organizing expositions, lectures, symposiums and folklore activities. They also discussed the possibility of filming a documentary that highlights growth in all walks of life in the GCC member states.

This film is to be aired via the GCC states' satellites and circulated among its embassies and media offices abroad.

Taking part in the meeting are foreign media officials at the information ministries in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Oman.
