Ethiopian message to Gaddafi

Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi on Monday received a message from Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi pertaining to the current conditions in Africa, especially the border disputes between Ethiopia and Eritrea.

The message was delivered by Ethiopia's foreign minister during his meeting on Monday night with the Libyan leader.

Gaddafi also received on Monday a message from President of the Central Africa Republic Ange Patasse, which underlined the importance of the continued efforts that resulted in signing a peace agreement.

He added that the recently-signed agreement ended the conflict in the Great Lakes region and the Democratic Republic of Congo with the objective of establishing peace in all parts of the African continent.
