Sheik Zayed is due to visit Oman
United Arab Emirates-Oman, Politics, 4/27/1999

Sheik Zayed Bin Sultan AL-Nahyan President of United Arab of Emirates is heading on coming Friday to Oman sultanate to fulfill an invitation directed to him by sultan Qabus Bin Saiid that will last 3 days to discuss means of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common concern.

Emirate sources said that the meeting between Zayed and Qabus will tackle the status in Iraq, the peace process in Middle east, Iran's occupation to three Emirate Islands and the Emirates resorting to the international court of justice on this issue.

The sources added "the two Arab leaders will also discuss the Gulf approach with Iran in spite of its occupation to three Emirate Island which contradicts with the gulf summits (resolutions)."

The sources added that Zayed and Qabus will discuss the probability of convening an Arab summit in which Iraq participates.
