Pope Shenuda in Beirut: Arnoun is Lebanese, and legitimacy is stronger than power

Pope Shenuda III of Alexandria (Egypt) said Arnoun will remain Lebanese, because legitimacy is stronger than power in spite of Israel re-occupying it. Pope Shenuda arrived at the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Sunday evening to participate in the meetings of Middle East churches.
The meeting tackled issues regarding unity, Christian attendance, electing four heads for the council, members of the executive committee, the secretary general and determining the council's priorities during the coming years.
