260 French companies in Cairo

A delegation of French businessmen representing 260 French companies is to arrive in Cairo on Friday to take part in the French exhibition "France Expo 99," which will be held on May 2 - 6.
The fair will be inaugurated by Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzoury, his French counterpart Lionel Jospin and a number of French ministers, including Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine and the ministers of trade and education.
Moreover, businessmen from Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Libya, Cyprus, Kuwait and Syria will participate in the fair.
Meanwhile, a conference on international communications will be held on June 6, then in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Environmental Affairs a conference on the environment will be held.
