Sony establishes a business channel for Dubai TV

The Japanese company Sony won a contract to establish the first stage of an business television affiliated to Dubai TV, worth $650,000.
A press statement released by Dubai TV said that the Japanese company will provide the new channel with all it needs of technical systems, and it is expected that the value of this channel's building will total $15 million.
Thus the new channel is considered the first Arab specialized business television channel with Dubai TV as part of a program to launch five television channels specializing in sports, news, children's programming and variety as well as the economic channel on the basis that the broadcasts on these channels will begin in the middle of next year.
