Princess Ann to arrive tomorrow in Cairo

Britain's Princess Ann will arrive tomorrow in Cairo, coming from Cyprus, on a four-day visit to Egypt.
David Blatherwick, Britain's ambassador in Cairo, said, "this visit is considered the first one made by the princess to Egypt. The importance of this visit is in light of her interest in certain social and childhood activities."
He said that Princess Ann will open a branch for the British Save the Children Fund and the new headquarters for the British cultural council in Cairo.
Princess Ann will also visit Luxor and Quena governerates on Thursday, where Britain participates in a project to ensure literacy for adults in Quena.
She will also visit archeological locations, among which are Queen Hatshpsut's Temple, Karnak and Giza pyramids.
