Princess Lalla Meryem chairs Child's Charity Night

Princess Lalla Meriem, eldest daughter of King Hassan II, accompanied by the Senegalese president's spouse,
Mrs. Elizabeth Diouf, chaired Saturday evening in Rabat the 2nd International child charity show organised by the Hassan II Foundation of Moroccans living abroad.
The event proceeds will go to four Moroccan associations working in favor of poor and disabled children.
The show was marked by a performance of Senegal's national ballet "Le Ballet de la Linguere" and by the holding of an exhibition of Senegalese arts.
In a message published on the occasion, princess Lalla Meryem said the event is meant to sensitize the public to the sufferings of poor and fragile children and rekindle their hope into a bright future.
For her part, Mrs. Elizabeth Diouf underlined the importance of the night, which she said, shows the Moroccans prompt solidarity and willingness to defend noble causes and improve the situation of poor children.
