Baghdad: New US - British strikes against Iraq

Baghdad announced that US and British planes shelled civil sites and other sites affiliate to Iraqi air defenses in the no-fly zone in northern Iraq.
An Iraqi military official said that Iraqi defenses replied to this shelling by forcing the planes to escape, adding that the shelling has caused material damages in this region. He also said the planes had flown out of the Turkish Incirlik.
The Iraqi official added that ground defenses that confront the high-technology military equipment used by the USA and Britain against Iraq with the help of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Turkey were able to force the US - British jets to escape.
