Morocco and Algeria may be on their way to better understanding

An official source in Rabat said that support given by Algeria to the UN lies in accelerating measures of relevance to the Sahara referendum, foremost being urging the refugees sheltered in the Tindouf camps to return to their homes, according to Houston agreement and the UN plan.
The official source told reporters in Rabat on Sunday that the new Algerian president-elect, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, is a man of dialogue and will put the interest of Algeria above any consideration."
He said, "Part of Algeria's interests lies in establishing good neighborly relations between the two countries."
