Sudan and the cease fire decision in the south

The Sudanese government has announced the extension of the temporary cease-fire decision in the areas of Bahr al-Gazelle until the convening of the forthcoming peace talks in Nairobi. A statement released by the Sudanese Foreign Ministry on Sunday said that renewing the cease-fire decision by the Sudanese government aims at facilitating relief efforts to reach the said area.
The Sudanese Foreign ministry has expressed its hope that current consultations between the two sides will be conducive to a complete cease-fire.
