Ivanov and al-Assad's visit to Russia

Monte Carlo radio said on Sunday that the Russian foreign minister has denied following his recent visit Syria any "connections between the postponement of President Hafez al-Assad's visit to Russia which was scheduled on April 12 and Russia's rejection to supply Syria with weapons." He stressed that decisions concerning bilateral relations between the two Syrian and Russian sides are taken through a mutual decision.
