Confidential Libyan - British communications

Libyan sources told ArabicNews.con that Britain has renewed its communications with the Libyan government and that it released the Libyan balances that were frozen in 1993.
The sources added, "The communications were on a lower level than ministers and discussed the future of Libyan - British relations."
The communications took place on the margins of the Mediterranean - European meeting held in Stuttgart, Germany in last week, which Libya attended for the first time.
The British Airways company sent a delegation to Libya for communications and negotiations regarding commercial transactions and contracts for establishing airports and harbors.
