Egyptian ministerial delegation visits Libya

Egyptian Minister of Information Safwat El-Sherif left Cairo, heading to Libyan capital Tripoli, at the top of a delegation comprising Minister of Health Ismael Salam, carrying a message of congratulations from President Mubarak to Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi, Libya's leadership and the Libyan people, on the occasion of the suspension of the international sanctions against Libya.

Libyan diplomatic sources said that Safwat El-Sherif delivered a written message from president Mubarak to Gaddafi that tackled the developments of situation in the Middle East, the situation in Africa, the bilateral ties between the two countries and means of its support.

The sources added that the message has tackled Egypt's view of holding the Arab summit called for by Yemeni President Abdallah Saleh and the support of Gaddafi for the Summit.
