Israeli president in Egypt: There are mistakes from the Israeli side since the beginning of the peace process

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has refused the release of the Israeli spy Azzam Azam who is sentences to 15 year imprisonment at charges of spying for the Israeli intelligence the Mossad.
Mubarak said "I respect the court and do not interfere in its verdicts and it can not be possible to release one Israeli prisoner and not to release other prisoners from other countries."
The Israeli president arrived in Egypt on Thursday in a visit which last for hours during which he held talks with President Mubarak dealt with means of giving the ME peace process a push forward. The two Presidents held a press conference following the luncheon banquet held by President Mubarak in honor of his Israeli counterpart. Mubarak started his press conference welcoming Weisman saying: " I know him since 21 years, a man who supports peace."
Weisman replied that Egypt " is the dynamo for changing the atmospheres in the Middle East among the Arab states and Israel." He expressed his regret for the obstacles impeding the Peace process. He indicated that achieving peace with Egypt was conducive to peace agreements with the Palestinians and Jordan. On the extent that the Israeli government is responsible for obstructing the peace process and the price that Israel should pay for that, the Israeli President said: " We are not dealing with the price we are to pay. There are mistakes from the Israeli side since the beginning of the peace process. And I will not analyze this mistakes and we can wait results of the Israeli elections."
