French experts take part in renovating Sakara pyramid

The permanent committee for Egyptian antiquities, chaired by Dr. Gab Allah Ali Gab Allah, the secretary general of the Supreme Council for Antiquities, has agreed upon the participation of French experts in renovating the hole located in the southern entrance of the pyramid at Sakara, which is considered to be the oldest pyramid in Egypt.
The engineering manager for Sakara region will supervise the French renovation work.
The supervisor of Giza antiquities, Zahi Hawass, said the French experts are from the engineers who designed the Egyptian subway, and have great experience in renovating such antiquities.
