Jordanian airline resumes trips to Libya
Jordan-Libya, Economics, 4/23/1999
Royal Jordanian Airline resumed its trips to Tripoli yesterday after the suspension earlier this month of economic sanctions imposed by the United Nations on Libya.
A statement released by the company's bureau in Cairo said the company's trips are back once more to Tripoli after being halted for seven years due to the air embargo imposed on Libya.
The statement added that the Jordanian airline will schedule only one trip weekly, on the basis that it will increase in the coming summer to two trips, while Libyan Arabian Airlines is to regulate two trips weekly at the end of the current month.
