15 international companies want to merchandise Aida 99

The administration of Egyptian Opera has received requests from 15 international companies to merchandise parties for Opera Aida 99, presented in the pyramid region in October.
Meanwhile, the Opera's chairman, Mostafa Nagi, presented these requests to the Tourism Ministry, which is responsible for merchandising. High-powered politicians, scientists and actors attend the parties for Aida from all over the world.
These parties raised 12 million pounds in profits last year, while costs amounted to 10 million pounds, according to the sources in the Egyptian Opera House.
