Saudi minister of defense to visit Tunisia, Iran and Pakistan

Saudi second deputy prime minister and Minster of Defense and Aviation, Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, is to start an official visit to Tunisia, Iran and Pakistan.

The Saudi prince will discuss with high-ranking officials in these countries Arab, regional and international issues in addition to enhancing cooperation among these countries and Saudi Arabia in all fields.

Prince Sultan's visit to Tunisia will begin on April 27, after which he will head to Iran on May 1 and conclude his tour with a visit to Pakistan.

His visit to Iran is considered the most important stop on his tour. He is expected to meet the guide of Iranian Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and President Mohammad Khatami as well as to hold talks with the Iranian minister of defense.
