Consultations between Egypt and the Vatican on Kosovo, Mideast peace

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa met yesterday with the Vatican's delegation with the chairmanship of Selshino, the deputy foreign minister who is currently visiting Cairo.
Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for European affairs Fathi El-Shazeli said Foreign Minister Amr Moussa held prolonged talks with the delegation in light of consultations between Egypt and the Vatican regarding Middle East issues. The deteriorated condition the peace process has reached, the situation in Balkans, and especially the latest developments in the Kosovo problem were discussed, as well as relations between the Vatican and the Arab world.
He also referred that "the Iraqi issue, relations between Vatican and the Islamic world, issues of discussion among cultures and the raised initiatives - were also discussed."
