OIC concludes meetings

Delegations from four countries in the Organization of the Islamic Conference concluded meetings yesterday in Jeddah, deciding on a number of important recommendations concerning the main issues of Islamic interest.

The conference determined that the Islamic countries should exert all efforts to settle the Kosovo crisis politically to guarantee the right of Kosovo people to determine their political future, return all refugees and immigrants immediately to their homes without conditions and compensate them for losses and harm.

In its recommendations, the conference confirmed the Islamic countries' readiness to take part in peacekeeping forces in Kosovo and decided to follow up on the meetings held currently between representitives of the OIC and foreign ministers of the international contact group concerning with Kosovo: Germany and Russia.
