Egyptian president in Morocco by end of May

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will pay a visit to Morocco by end of May to co-chair with King Hassan II the meeting of the Moroccan-Egyptian high joint commission.
President Mubarak, who made the announcement in a statement to the Egyptian daily Al-Goumhouria, said the joint commission will examine the achievements completed since the latest session held in May 1998 and discuss future projects.
The commission will thoroughly examine topical Arab, regional and international issues, President Mubarak said.
The commission's latest session, held in Cairo under the co-chairmanship of the two heads of state, was marked by the signing of several cooperation accords including an agreement setting up a free trade area between Morocco and Egypt.
