Morocco-Senegal, Politics, 4/22/1999

President Abdou Diouf of Senegal is to pay as of Friday a five-day visit to Morocco, it was officially announced in Dakar on Wednesday.

The Senegalese head of state will be accompanied by his spouse, Mrs Elizabeth Diouf, who will attend the second international Charity child night to be held in Rabat this April 24 under the chairmanship of princess Lalla Meriem, eldest daughter of King Hassan II.

The event will be marked by a performance of Senegal's national ballet "Le Ballet de la Linguere" and will be followed by a gala dinner.

The raised-funds will be donated to four Moroccan associations concerned with disabled and poor children.

President Diouf will be back home on Tuesday, the Senegalese official radio said.
