The Arab National Forum in Lebanon has called upon all Arab governments to immediately release "prisoners of political views." In a statement issued in Beirut on Wednesday on Prisoner Day, the forum asserted a need to honor public freedoms and human rights in order to foil the pretext advocated by the government of Tel Aviv, which tries to justify its human rights violations and detention of Arab and Palestinian militants by violations taking place of in Arab lands and the thousands of political detainees in the Arab jails.
