Iraq warns US, British pilots

An Iraqi military official on Tuesday warned the US and British pilots who fly within the " two no fly zones" of the consequences of violating Iraqi airspace.
The Iraqi daily al-Joumhureyah published on Tuesday in Baghdad quoted the commander of the Iraqi Air Force, Lt. Gen. Khaldoun Khattab Baker, as saying that US and British jets will be downed and they will not be safe when they fly in Iraqi airspace from the up north to down south.
The Iraqi warning, however, came as the British and American jets intensified their sorties in the two said "no-fly zones" and attacked Iraqi positions.
