Russian foreign minister arrives at Cairo on Friday

Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov will arrive in Cairo Friday to hold talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Amr Moussa, that will tackle the peace process, the Kosovo crisis and relations between the two countries.
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will meet with the Russian official, who is visiting Egypt for the first time, and will receive from Ivanov a message from Russian President Boris Yeltsin in the framework of exchanging opinions between Cairo and Moscow toward regional issues.
Russia's ambassador in Cairo, Vladimir Godaiev, said the Russian - Egyptian talks will tackle the issue of declaring the Palestinian state during the approach of its declaration date on May 4.
