Jordan denies having approved Barak's visit

The Jordanian weekly al-Hadath said that well-informed Jordanian sources have denied that the Jordanian government approved a request made by leader of the Israeli Labor Party, Ehud Barak, to visit Jordan. The paper quoted the sources as saying that Israeli political figures asked to meet with King Abdullah in Jordan. The paper added that the Jordanian-Israeli meetings are postponed until after the Israeli elections.
