A Syrian wrestling team has achieved strong results in the Damascus International Wrestling Tournament as they grabbed seven out of eight categories. The Syrian medal winners are: Khaled Faraj, Zakaria Nashed, Yasser Saleh Muhamad Mandu Muhammad Kin, Muhammad Hayek and Hassan Ramdoun. The supreme military court in Cairo on Sunday sentenced to death nine members of the banned al-Jihad group, including the leader of the organization, Aymen al-Zawahri. The court, which is currently held at the Hiktisab military base north of Cairo and tried 107 suspects, also handed down life with hard labor sentences against 11 members who were tried in the course of the "Alkahi Tanteth" case. The court sentenced 78 of those convicted to imprisonment from one to 15 years and found another 20 not guilty.
