Three candidates for Algerian presidency reject results of elections

Three candidates for the Algerian Presidency who withdrew before the beginning of the elections have announced that the results do not express the people's will of the Algerian people.

He stressed they refuse results of these elections and do not recognize it. In press symposiums they held today in Algiers, Ahmad Taleb al-lbraheimi, Mawloud Hamroush and Abdullah Jabullah called for strike and to stage demonstrations on the day when investiture of the new President Abdul Aziz Bouteflika will be announced. Al-Ibraheimi announced that he will establish a new party. He stressed he does not recognize what had been concluded by the Presidential elections of results, adding according to these elections the country once again lives a new legal and constitutional crisis.

Hamroush for his part announced that the six candidates (who withdrew the elections) had agreed on the need to continue acts of protest and observing a national strike, the day when Bouteflika will assume power. Jabullah suggested for citizens to close down trade centers on the investiture day of Bouteflika. He added the six candidates decided to organize a national march on April 26.
