Starting to establish airports at Egyptian Oasis

A delegation from the German company ABB chaired by Axel Shtepkin arrived yesterday in Cairo to start the executive measures for establishing the airports of Farfra, Bahria at Egyptian Oasis on the B.O.T (build-operate-transfer) system.

A statement released by the company's bureau in Cairo said the visiting delegation included engineer Ibrahim Wali, accountant Sameh El-Menshawi, and Iranian engineer Saleh Seiry in order to review the final developments of the form of the two airports in a meeting with pilot Abd El-Fattah Kato, the head of the airport sector in the department.

The statement added that an Egyptian - German company was established to manage and activate the two airports on the BOT system after approval was given for the project by the Egyptian department for investment.
