Hamas and Kosovo

Commenting on a statement made by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Victor Posovaluke that members "of organizations including Hamas have moved to Kosovo," the Hamas movement said, "What has been stated by the Russian deputy foreign minister is null and groundless."

The movement added it limits "its activities in resisting the Zionist occupation and its crimes against our Palestinian people."

Hamas continued that while it expresses its sympathy and solidarity with the Muslims of Kosovo, Hamas concentrates its efforts in the service of the direct objective of its establishment, embodied in resisting the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.

The movement indicated "political objectives" by those who promote such news.
