Alitalia starts its first flight to Libya

The Italian airline company Alitalia has announced that it started as of Wednesday its first flight to Tripoli following the suspension of the air embargo imposed on Libya. In a statement issued on Tuesday, AFP quoted the company as saying that Wednesday's flight was a private trip to the Libyan capital including several Italian contractors.
The Agency added that ordinary flights will be resumed between Rome and Italy as from the first of next May.
