Arab anti-terrorism pact to be valid as of May

A statement released by the Arab League on Wednesday in Cairo said the Arab anti-terrorism pact signed by all Arab states on April 22, 1998, will be put into actual implementation as of May 7 after Jordan on Wednesday ratified it to become the seventh Arab state to ratify the pact, following Egypt, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Bahrain and the UAE.
