Emir of Bahrain receives Indyk

The Gulf News Agency said on Wednesday that the Emir of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa, received on Wednesday in Manama US Undersecretary of State for Near East Affairs Martin Indyk.
The agency reported that Sheikh Hamad discussed with Indyk regional and international issues, especially the situation in Kosovo. Present at the meeting were Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Muhammad Bin Mubarak al-Khaleifa and the US ambassador in Manama, Johnny Young.
US Defense Secretary William Cohen gave the green light to sign a contract to sell 26 missiles of Amram type to Bahrain at a cost of US $110 million.
