Kuwaiti - Tunisian economic talks

The Kuwaiti - Tunisian joint committee is starting its meetings today in Tunis to discuss problems that face bilateral economic relations, find solutions to these problems, activate and liberate trade between the two states.
The Kuwaiti delegation will be headed by Minister of Trade Hesham El-Otaibi, and the meetings will last for three days.
An official Tunisian statement stated that the meetings primarily aim at reactivating bilateral agreements signed at the end of the 1980s and halted after the Gulf War due to Tunis' supporting for Iraqi President Saddam Hussein from Kuwait's point of view.
Mutual visits have recently occurred among officials from the two governments to Tunisia and Kuwait.
