An Egyptian - Chinese protocol in the agriculture field

A protocol for agricultural cooperation between Egypt and China is being signed today in Cairo, especially in rice cultivation in which China is characterized as having a high level of experience.
A statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture said Egypt started cooperation with China in 1995.
The protocol includes preparing Egyptian cadres and providing Egyptian engineers expertise with the Chinese and Japanese soil, which are similar to the Egyptian soil. A delegation of Chinese experts will train Egyptian laborers directly in their fields.
The protocol aims at increasing Egypt's exports of rice to the Arab markets in addition to fulfilling the needs of local market.
