Moroccan Public TV Workers to Observe Second Sit-in

Newsmen and Technicians of the Moroccan public TV-Radio (RTM) will stage on Wednesday a sit-in to protest poor work and financial situation. It will be the 2nd protest movement of the RTM workers in less than three weeks. The protesters call for amending the regulations governing the radio and TV to enable them to keep pace with the socio-economic and political changes in Morocco.
They also request additional allowances, improvement of their work conditions and respect of the journalism ethics.
