Morocco's crown prince in France to promote Moroccan events

Moroccan Crown Prince Sidi Mohammed and Princess Lalla Meriem started on Sunday a visit to France where they will dedicate a series of events, held part of the Moroccan year-long festival "Le Temps du Maroc en France." On Tuesday, the crown prince and French president, Jacques Chirac, will dedicate a four month-long exhibition dubbed "Morocco, treasuries of the Kingdom" (Maroc, Tresors du Royaume) to be held in "Le Petit Palais," one of the most prestigious arts galleries of the French capital.
The crown prince who is accompanied by a large official delegation will also dedicate the exhibition of a replica of "Bab El Mansour," a 17th century gate located in the Moroccan central imperial city of Meknes.
Sidi Mohammed and Princess Lalla Meriem are scheduled to be guest to a luncheon hosted in their honor by the French president before attending a gala diner whose proceeds will go to Moroccan charity associations.
