Sharon arrives in Moscow

Israeli Foreign Minister Ariel Sharon arrived in Moscow on Sunday from Washington in order to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov. Israeli Radio said that coordination for Sharon's visit to Moscow was made with the US administration in the context of the efforts aimed at preventing the transfer of advanced Russian technology to Iran.

Israeli political sources said the Israeli mini-Cabinet discussed in a meeting held recently not to expand Israeli-Russian cooperation in the area of security industries in the current phase, at the request of the US, which by its turn welcomed the Israeli decision.
