Speaker of Moroccan legislative house welcomes lifting of sanctions on Libya

Speaker of the chamber of advisors, upper house of the Moroccan parliament, Mohamed Jalal Essaid, Friday expressed satisfaction at the lifting of the embargo enforced against Libya since 1992. The Moroccan official who was speaking at the opening of the chamber's spring session hoped that this issue will be settled once and for all so that Libya recovers its place within the international community.
Essaid also voiced hope that the sanctions against Iraq will be lifted.
