Arab trade and industry chambers union meets in Lebanon

The Union of Arab Trade and Industry Chambers opened Thursday in Beirut a meeting to discuss the union's future action plan to enhance trade exchange and economic cooperation between Arab states.
The meeting's agenda also includes debates on the union's past activities, renewal of the managing board and ways to speed up the building of the common Arab market and free-trade zone.
The Arab chambers represented in the gathering are from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Oman, Tunisia, Palestine, Sudan, Bahrain and Lebanon.
