Damascus hosts international meeting on Islamic madahibs

An International meeting will be held in Damascus April 10 to look into ways of bringing closer the various Islamic madahibs (rites). During the three-day gathering, worldwide theologians will make presentations on the major Islamic madahibs and their contribution in the exegesis of the holy Koran and promotion of the Islamic culture and precepts.
Director general of the Rabat-based Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will take part in the meeting.
