Morocco attends Catholic patriarch-bishops congress next May

Morocco will attend a congress of the Catholic patriarchs and bishops of the Orient due next May in Beirut. The congress will shed light on the past of the Catholic churches in the Orient region, their current situation and common vision for the third millennium.
Dialogue between Christians and Muslims and Catholic-Orthodox dialogue as well as the Middle-East peace process will also be tackled during the encounter.
Besides Morocco and Lebanon (host country), delegates from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Libya, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia will also be present in the congress besides guests from Europe, Americas, Asia and Australia.
