First Syrian plane to Libya on Saturday

The first Syrian air flight will arrive directly at Tripoli International Airport from Damascus tomorrow, following the suspension on Monday of the embargo imposed on Libya. The plane will carry Minister of Transport Mufeed Abdul Kareem, the director general of the Syrian airline establishment and various Syrian journalists.
During the visit to Libya, the delegation will discuss arrangements to restart regular flights between Damascus and Tripoli.
For his part, the secretary of Libya's People's Committee for Communications (communications minister) praised Syria's stances adopted during the years of the sanctions on Libya.
