Fair for Iranian products in Jeddah
Saudi Arabia-Iran, Economics, 4/8/1999
An Iranian trade fair is currently being held in Jeddah, with the participation of 145 Iranian companies and corporations that present Iran's most modern economic and consumer products.
This fair comes as part of diplomatic efforts to upgrade economic and trade relations between Tehran and the Arab Gulf states.
Riyadh has hosted the same fair under the patronage of Riyadh's Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and met with great success, thus Iranian foodstuffs, traditional industries, such as handicraft carpets and lambs found the great approval of Saudi consumers.
