Israel expels 25 citizens from south Lebanon

Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday, together with the pro-Israeli South Lebanon Army militia expelled more than 25 Lebanese civilians from the occupied Lebanese town of Shabaa in south Lebanon, including women, children and elderly, via Zamraya gate on the Hasbaya front.

Later in the day, the Lebanese deportees arrived at the Lebanese Army check-point in Ein Fajjour in the western Bekaa.

This Israeli measure followed the deserting of four Lahd pro-Israeli militia members two days ago from the town of Shabaa.

Meantime, the Lebanese national resistance has retaliated to the repeated Israeli aggressions which targeted civilians and violated their rights. In a statement, the Lebanese national resistance said one of its groups attacked, on Tuesday morning, the Israeli border at al-Abbad position, while another resistance group attacked the Ramya border position. Direct hits were achieved in both attacks. At midnight Monday, the Lebanese national resistance attacked the Israeli occupation positions in al-Abbad, Marhabal and Tallousa. Direct hits were also achieved.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation troops have continued their attacks on areas adjacent to the occupied part of South Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said Israeli artillery stationed in Teir Harfa and Muhaibaib on Tuesday morning bombarded al-Qeseyeh valley and the surroundings of al-Swanneh, Mai dal Soloum, Khurbet Soloum, al-Boutom mountain, Zibqin and al-Assi district.
