Israeli soldier kills his colleague and then commits suicide

Israel Radio reported on Sunday that one Israeli soldier killed his colleague and then committed suicide on Sunday at the border with Lebanon, following a dispute between the two. In a statement the Israeli army confirmed the two deaths but gave no details on the incident.

The statement said that Sergeant Ronin Kimchi (20) and soldier Alexander Reznikoff (19) were killed and another army officer was slightly wounded.

The statement added that preliminary investigations revealed that a dispute emerged between the two soldiers and that one of them opened fire and the two died after being wounded.
