Merets movement supports full withdrawal from the Golan

Israel Radio reported on Sunday that the Israeli Merets movement has expressed its backing for an Israeli withdrawal to the international borders in the Golan Heights if a genuine peace is reached with Syria including proper security arrangements. The radio added that the Merets election program states support for redeployment of the Israeli Army in south Lebanon and even implementation of unilateral withdrawal from Lebanon in case an agreement is not reached with Syria.
